Ford Truck Old Air Hurricane System

1973 - 1979

The Hurricane A/C, Heat & Defrost System is easy to install. The unit mounts to the firewall with a custom mounting plate using the original heater mounting holes. Heater & A/C hoses pass neatly through the firewall, through a rubber grommet, into the engine compartment. An all new electronic slide control fits into the original dash opening to operate the fan, A/C, Heat and Defrost Functions. Adapters connect the factory louvers to the Hurricane unit for an original appearance. A custom condenser assembly includes mounting brackets, receiver/drier and pre-formed aluminum lines to pass neatly through the core support. The included compressor has a Plain finish but upgrade for Polished or Chrome finish is available. The A/C hose kit that is supplied may be pre-crimped or universal depending on the engine application. A universal hose kit will require fitting and crimping the hoses to complete installation.
