The Water Pump Runs Independently of the Belt
An electric water pump uses electrical power rather than a belt-driven pulley to circulate coolant. The Wraptor serpentine belt continues to drive the engine accessories included in your selected configuration.
The listed naturally aspirated packages include a nominal 35 GPM electric water pump. Follow the pump and kit instructions when planning wiring, coolant connections and installation.
Choose Your Bracket Layout
Mid-Mount: Uses a one-piece billet aluminum bracket. The listed applications support standard or Camel Hump/Fuelie heads and require electric cooling fans.
Wide-Mount: Uses a two-piece billet aluminum bracket arrangement. These kits require a standard-deck small-block Chevy engine and do not fit tall-deck applications.

Select the Accessories You Need
Choose AC, power steering and alternator together, or select power steering and alternator, AC and alternator, or alternator only. Available packages feature a 160-amp alternator with a 300-amp upgrade option.
The electric pump, drive brackets, pulleys and belt form the foundation of the package. Included engine accessories depend on the configuration selected.

Electric Water Pump Wraptor Questions
Is the electric water pump included?
Yes. The listed all-inclusive electric-water-pump Wraptor packages include the pump. Review the selected kit's contents for the complete accessory and hardware list.
Why does the system still need a serpentine belt?
The pump is electrically powered, but the alternator and any selected power steering pump or AC compressor still need a mechanical drive. The serpentine belt operates those accessories.
Do I also need an electric fuel pump?
No. The listed Mid-Mount and Wide-Mount EWP systems allow either a mechanical or electric fuel pump. Electric water pump selection does not require changing a compatible fuel pump.
Is this just a pump swap for an existing Wraptor kit?
These are complete systems arranged for an electric water pump. If you already own a mechanical-water-pump Wraptor, contact CVF to identify the components needed for a conversion rather than assuming the pump alone completes the change.
