Build your LS accessory drive with CVF Racing Chevy LS serpentine conversion kits. Our BEAST systems offer configurations for alternator-only, power steering and alternator, or air conditioning, power steering and alternator applications. Choose Polished or Stealth Black finishes for compatible LS1, LS2, LS3 and LS6 engines.
BEAST conversion kits are designed to reuse a compatible OEM water pump and harmonic balancer. Select your kit spacing based on the balancer installed on your engine, then review the required water pump, accessory options and included components before ordering.
Choose the Right Chevy LS Serpentine Conversion Kit
Start with the accessories your build needs, then confirm balancer spacing and water pump compatibility. The engine name alone does not determine the correct accessory drive configuration.
Choose Your Accessory Configuration
- Alternator only: For builds that do not require belt-driven power steering or air conditioning.
- Power steering and alternator: For builds that need both accessories without air conditioning.
- Air conditioning, power steering and alternator: For builds that need provisions for all three accessories.
These configuration names describe the accessories the system supports. They do not mean every accessory is included in the base kit. Review the included-parts list and select compatible accessories as needed.
Match Your Balancer Spacing
The BEAST LS conversion kits offer the following spacing selections based on your current balancer:
- Corvette / CTS-V / SS / G8
- 1998–2002 Camaro / Firebird / GTO
- Truck / SUV / 2010–2015 Camaro
Each spacing option has water pump requirements. Check the selected product's application notes, especially if your engine combines parts from different donor vehicles.

Chevy LS Serpentine Conversion Kit FAQs
What is a Chevy LS serpentine conversion kit?
A serpentine conversion kit provides brackets, pulleys and belt-drive hardware for a compatible accessory arrangement. CVF's BEAST LS systems are designed around compatible OEM water pumps and balancers.
Can I reuse my existing LS water pump and balancer?
Yes, when they match the selected kit's requirements. Choose spacing based on your installed balancer and confirm the required water pump in the product's application notes. An engine swap may have a different accessory arrangement than the original donor vehicle.
Are the alternator, power steering pump and AC compressor included?
These accessories are offered as optional additions on the BEAST LS conversion kits where applicable. Review the base kit contents and select the accessories your build requires. Belts are also offered as a selectable option.
Where are the accessories mounted?
The BEAST LS systems position the alternator on the passenger side in a mid-mount arrangement. Power steering configurations add a driver's-side pump location, while AC configurations position the compressor low on the passenger side. Check clearance for your chassis and selected accessories before ordering.
What finishes are available?
The BEAST Chevy LS conversion kits are offered in Polished and Stealth Black finishes. Check the individual product for available configurations and accessory finishes.
