Back to the Fifties.
RETURN TO NORMALITY. SORT OF.
After what has seemed like years being stuck at home, part of the CVF Crew was finally able to get back out and enjoy an annual tradition here in Minnesota, the Back to the Fifties Car Show. CVF has been attending this show as a vendor for the last five years, so when the show was cancelled in 2020, we were devastated. We entered 2021 with high hopes for our summer shows in Minnesota only to be discouraged as restrictions remained in place throughout the spring. At this time, we made the difficult decision to not attend any of our local shows and instead focus our time on providing the best SEMA and PRI show yet.
BACK TO THE FIFTIES.
During normal years we have our booth set up and only see a fraction of the show but get to talk to all sorts of current and potential customers about their vehicles as they visit our booth. This year was slightly different as we were able to visit the entire show seeing what we could find.
The Back to the Fifties car show is one of the top-rated car shows in the country winning the #1 show in 3 of the past 4 years (last vote in 2019). What makes this show so special is all vehicles are 1964 or older (sorry Mustang and Camaro fans). Even with this hard limit of 1964, the show continuously has over 10,000 vehicles registered with some years seeing over 12000 registered vehicles! Add in all sorts of great vendors, a swap meet, food that is terrible for you, and some live music and you have a great 3-day weekend!
