Hot Rod Bio: The Craziest Donk at the SEMA Show
Stitch Built
This 1973 Chevrolet Caprice is a full expression of Stitch (Rico) identity. Bold color, modern luxury, and high level craftsmanship all wrapped into a classic full size Chevy platform. Known as the CaPelly, this build blends street presence with show level detail without losing drivability.
Audio as an Experience
Starting from the rear, the trunk is a showcase all its own. A full JBL sponsored audio system fills the space, featuring four 10 inch subs, multiple amplifiers, and a rally soundbar that delivers serious volume. Everything is flushed, wrapped in leather, and finished clean. Acrylic accents tie the entire layout together, all handled in house by Stitch's team.
The result is loud when it needs to be, refined when it does not.

Color with Intent
The exterior color is a modern McLaren shade called Lantana Purple, pulled straight from a 2024 McLaren palette. Flamingo colored leather accents carry the color story inside, while rose gold wheels bring everything together visually. Every element was chosen to connect, not clash.

Bentley Interior Conversion
Inside, the Caprice steps into a different class entirely. The full interior is sourced from a 2017 Bentley, adapted and reworked to fit the classic Chevy body. Heated seats, power functions, push start, and integrated controls all work as intended thanks to extensive custom wiring.
Nothing is decorative only. Every feature functions.
Suspension and Stance
Underneath, the car rides on a QA1 Level 2 suspension system. The install was straightforward and clean, solving ride and handling concerns while maintaining comfort. Everything underneath is color matched and finished with the same attention to detail as the rest of the car.

Powertrain Simplicity
Under the hood sits an LS3 sourced from a 2007 Escalade, bored .030 over and fitted with a Stage 2 cam. The setup is built on a roughly 700 horsepower capable platform while remaining street friendly. A ram air intake supports airflow, while CVF accessory drive components and hinges keep everything aligned, reliable, and clean.
Built to Be Enjoyed
This Caprice is not just a showpiece. Heat works. Air conditioning works. The car is meant to be driven, enjoyed, and experienced, not parked and protected.
