Hot Rod Bio: Three Muscle Car Sweepstakes Builds from RestoMods Featuring CVF Racing at SEMA 2025
At SEMA we caught up with Chris from RestoMods standing in front of not one, but three fully built muscle cars that someone is going to drive home.
A 1969 Mustang.
A 1967 Chevelle.
A 1970 Charger.
All completely redone. All turnkey. And all running CVF Racing accessory drive systems.
Let’s break them down.
1969 Mustang – Classic Look, Modern Foundation
The 69 Mustang is one of the most recognizable muscle cars ever built, and this one keeps that iconic look while upgrading everything underneath.
It’s running a full coilover suspension, disc brakes, and a Blueprint Engines 347 stroker. This particular engine is part of Blueprint’s Builder Series, which includes the CVF Front Runner accessory drive as part of the package.
That means no guessing on pulley alignment, bracket fitment, or accessory layout. It’s a complete, matched engine package that just works.
The engine is fuel injected with Holley, and the interior features TMI upholstery that keeps the factory look but adds bolstering and comfort. Wood grain wheel, clean dash, AC, and overdrive. It’s exactly what most people want their Mustang to be after they’ve “finished” it.
Only this one is already done.

1967 Chevelle – Roadster Shop and 427 LS Power
The Chevelle is a step further.
This one sits on a Roadster Shop chassis, which immediately sets the tone for the entire build. Modern geometry, modern ride quality, and the foundation to handle real power.
Under the hood is a Blueprint 427 LS paired with a 4L65E overdrive transmission. For this build, they went with a black anodized CVF Front Runner to match the darker theme of the engine bay. Instead of polished flash, this one leans into subtle contrast with different shades of black.
The LS is dressed with FiTech components to clean up the look, hiding coil packs and keeping the engine bay intentional and refined.
Braking is handled by Wilwood with 15 inch rotors and six piston calipers. Inside, the car keeps a factory Chevelle feel but elevates it with a full leather interior in a rich brown tone. The paint is Lexus Nori Green, a factory modern color that still feels right at home on a classic muscle car.
It’s a good example of blending modern OEM finishes with vintage lines.

1970 Charger – Straight Muscle
If the Chevelle is refined, the Charger is just mean.
Black on black 1970 Charger with full QA1 suspension underneath. These cars aren’t known for their handling from the factory, so suspension was a priority.
Power comes from a Blueprint 426 Gen 3 Hemi, and again, it’s running a CVF accessory drive. The Gen 3 Hemi setups are becoming more popular in classic swaps, and one of the biggest headaches with those engines is accessory fitment.
Factory drives can vary depending on donor application. The CVF system simplifies that with a clean, compact layout that works with modern Sanden style compressors and aftermarket power steering solutions.
Holley controls the engine management, making it far easier to integrate into a classic chassis.
The result is a Charger that keeps its aggressive presence but drives like something built in this decade.

Turnkey Muscle, Done Right
All three builds follow the same philosophy. Take iconic muscle car platforms, upgrade the foundation, simplify the engine packages, and make them reliable enough to actually drive.
That includes running proven accessory drive systems that don’t throw belts, don’t fight alignment, and don’t look out of place in a high level engine bay.
