CHRYSLER & MOPAR 1-WIRE ALTERNATORS
100-AMP CHARGING WITH V-BELT & SERPENTINE OPTIONS

Complete your Chrysler, Dodge or Plymouth charging system with a CVF Racing 100-amp 1-wire alternator. Choose Chrome or Stealth Black finishes with a single-groove V-belt pulley or an 8-rib serpentine pulley to match your accessory drive.

These internally regulated 12V alternators combine simple 1-wire charging connections with a finished engine bay appearance. Confirm the mounting arrangement, pulley alignment and wiring requirements for your installation before ordering.

Choose Your Chrysler Alternator Configuration

Single-Groove V-Belt Alternators

For a compatible V-belt accessory drive, choose a Chrysler 1-wire alternator with the single-groove pulley. Chrome and Stealth Black options let you coordinate the alternator with your brackets, pulleys and other accessories.

8-Rib Serpentine Alternators

For a compatible 8-rib accessory drive, select the serpentine pulley configuration. Match the alternator and pulley to your specific bracket system, including mounting dimensions and belt alignment.

Plan Your Charging-System Wiring

When replacing an alternator or updating a classic Mopar, check the existing charge wiring and grounding against the new alternator's installation requirements. Browse our alternator adapter kits and wiring for available installation components.

Chrysler 1-Wire Alternator FAQs

Which pulley should I choose?

Choose the single-groove V-belt version for a compatible V-belt drive, or the 8-rib serpentine version for a compatible 8-rib system. Confirm pulley alignment and bracket fitment rather than choosing by vehicle make alone.

Do these alternators require an external voltage regulator?

These Chrysler 1-wire alternators have an internal voltage regulator. Follow the supplied installation instructions when adapting an existing charging system that originally used an external regulator.

Does 100 amps mean the alternator produces 100 amps at idle?

The 100-amp figure is the advertised output rating. Actual output depends on operating conditions, including alternator speed and temperature. Compare your electrical demand at idle and cruising speed when choosing an alternator.

Will these fit every Chrysler or Mopar bracket?

Check the alternator's mounting dimensions against your bracket and accessory drive requirements. A Chrysler application label does not establish compatibility with every factory bracket or aftermarket system.

Can I keep my original charging wire?

Verify its condition and capacity against the alternator's requirements. Cable size, length, circuit protection and grounding all affect the installation. Follow the alternator instructions when planning your charging connections.
