There’s a Split Shipment slip in my package
Orders and Warranty
If you opened your box and found a slip stamped Split Shipment, it means part of your order is still on its way. Here is exactly what that slip is telling you.
Overview
Short Answer
One or more items in your order are shipping separately. No action is needed on your end. The remaining items will ship automatically as soon as they are back in stock, and you will get tracking for them in a separate email.
Why this happened

This is the slip in your box. If you found it, this article is the long version of it.
Due to high demand, one or more items in your order are being shipped separately. Those items are marked as “Split Shipment” on your pick list with a stamp, which is the slip you found in the box.
We ship what is ready rather than holding your whole order for one part. That way the parts you can start working with reach you now.
What happens next
We are working to restock the remaining parts as quickly as possible and will ship your item as soon as it is here. No action is needed on your end. Your remaining items will ship automatically once they are back in stock.
- An email notification was sent at the time of your original shipment.
- Tracking information for the remaining items will be sent in a separate email when they ship.
How to read your pick list
Compare the pick list in the box against what you actually received. Anything carrying the Split Shipment stamp is the part still coming. Everything else should be in the box, so if something is missing that is not stamped, that is a different problem and we want to hear about it. See our article on kits that arrive missing hardware.
Before you start your install
Check whether the outstanding part is one you need early in the build. If a bracket or pulley you need on day one is the part that is still coming, tell us and we will let you know what we are hearing on timing so you can plan around it rather than getting halfway in and stopping.
If you have questions about the timing
Email contact support or call 651.356.8593 with your order number and we will tell you what the remaining item is waiting on. Our article on where your order is covers the usual causes, which are mostly finishing and machining steps.
